Graham Kennedy of the Scale Technical Commitee, (STC) has provided an update on the bid to bring the 2026 F4 Scale World Championships to the UK:
“Following the BMFA Annual General Meeting, (AGM), on Saturday 18th November, the STC are delighted to announce that the UK has submitted its bid to CIAM, (The FAI Aeromodelling Commission), to host the 2026 F4 Scale World Championships.
This will be discussed at the CIAM Bureau in a couple of weeks time and voted on at the CIAM Plenary Meeting taking place in April 2024”
Congratulations to Graham, the World Champs Organising Committee and the STC for all their incredible efforts in getting the bid another step closer!
